Please let us know,

We're a wine merchant for serious wine consumers, and also advise some important
restaurants and hotels, do their lists, and sell them quality and value wines. We
have lots of keenly priced, interesting and unusual wines. Delivery is just £5 per
order (min. 12 items or £180) for England and Wales (more elsewhere!)
We’re small fry in the wine business, just myself, Robin and my wife, Marion. We
like the rare and unusual, not just good. And unusually we have stocks of mature
wines, a few going back decades. But we’re always looking for that new wine that
costs under a tenner and tastes like twenty! Advice is very much part of the service.
Do look at our wine list, and get in touch. Importantly, it’s very personal - just
us, no staff. We choose, buy, check (and drink!) all the wines, and pack and despatch
the orders ourselves. Click a link, read more about us, or go straight to the wine
list.
VAT at 15%? The reduction of the vat-inc. price should be around 21p per £10. But
the duty increase cancels out a slug of that, and there are other cost increases!
Can’t be bothered with odd pennies, so... under £10 no change; under £20 - less 20p,
£30 - 40p, £40 - 60p, above £40 - £1.00. Hope this is reasonably fair! This is now
included in the stated prices.
